Milton Schachter, AmeriWound’s Chief Executive Officer, and Founder, with over 30 years of healthcare experience founded and led the MidSouth’s first federally qualified HMO. After partnering with Prudential, he guided the health plan’s growth to 100,000 commercial and Medicaid members. Milt simultaneously founded/led Health First Medical Group’s 100 providers, a 600 provider multi-state PHO, and subsequent merger with MedPartners where his region realized a 9.5% EBITDA. He developed/led ancillary services for hospital systems and private physician entities including diagnostic imaging centers and ASCs. He led a major Orthopedic practice increasing revenues by 35% and profitability by 26%. Milt served with LEK Consulting developing ACO, payor, health system, home health, and private equity firm strategies. He led Ernst & Young engagements developing vertically integrated partnerships with physician practices, hospitals, and managed care plans. Milt received a BA from Yeshiva University and an MPA in Healthcare Administration from NYU.

Chief Operating Officer
Samson Fixler, AmeriWound’s Chief Operating Officer and Co-Founder, has over 16 years of healthcare and business experience.Samson served as a nursing home executive for a group of five nursing homes. Over the course of his career, he founded and led a mobile dentistry practice servicing Skilled Nursing Facilities and Assisted Living Facilities throughout Northeast Ohio. Prior to his health care experience, Samson served as Project Manager and Senior Business Analyst for Delaware Investments, a subsidiary of Lincoln National and Merrill Lynch. Mr. Fixler received a BA from Yeshiva University and a Masters in Business Administration from Temple University.

Keith R. Doram, MD, MBA, FACP, FAPWH
Chief Medical Officer
Keith R. Doram, MD, MBA, FACP, FAPWH served as a Sr. Executive level physician leader and/or Chief Medical Officer in several large health care organizations including, Adventist Health/West, Christiana Care, Lehigh Valley Network, and Loma Linda University. He has had academic clinical professorships at Penn State University and Loma Linda University. Dr. Doram is a Fellow in the Academy of Physicians in Wound Healing (FAPWH) and was previously a Certified Medical Director by the American Board of Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine (ABPLM – formerly aka The American Medical Directors Association). Dr. Doram has lectured nationally and internationally, authored several publications in peer-reviewed medical journals and contributed to Noble’s Textbook of Primary Care Medicine. He is listed in Becker’s “Top 100” list of US hospital and health system physician leaders. Dr. Doram received his MD from Indiana University School of Medicine and his MBA from University of Redlands. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Loma Linda University Medical Center and is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Geriatric Medicine. He is an Adjunct Associate Professor of Medicine at Loma Linda University School of Medicine.

Ross Leighliter, AmeriWound’s Chief Financial Officer, was previously Assistant Vice-President of Finance for outpatient surgery center operator Symbion Healthcare, both in the Northeastern U.S. and also Florida. Ross has his Executive Master of Business Administration from Cleveland State University.

Robin L. Dillard
Human Resource Director
Robin Bennett serves as AmeriWound’s Human Resource Manager. Previously, Robin managed over 200 employees specializing in compliance, hiring, recruitment, staffing, and performance improvement in healthcare. Robin formerly served as Human Resource Credentialing Coordinator for Maxim Healthcare Services and the Center for Health Affairs. She was instrumental in obtaining three Joint Commission Seals of Approval and two mergers that resulted in significant increase in the number of employees and the volume of sales. Robin has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Resource Management and Organizational Development from the University of Toledo and is currently pursuing an MBA at Kaplan University

Stephanie Lovin, MS
Regional Director, Ohio, Illinois & Indiana
Stephanie Lovin is AmeriWound’s Regional Director for 3 states – Ohio, Illinois, and Indiana. Stephanie, who has been AmeriWound’s longest-tenured Regional Manager, previously served as the company’s Regional Manager for Southern and Central Ohio and Southern Indiana. Stephanie’s promotion to Regional Director was effective as of February 2018 based on her strong history of performance. Prior to joining AmeriWound, Stephanie served as Business Development Manager for NuSkin and as a Clinical Sales Representative for Pharmanex. Stephanie has a Masters degree in Clinical Research Management from Arizona State University.

Megan Smith is AmeriWound’s Northern Ohio Area Manager. Megan previously served as a Health Care Management/Business Development Consultant for the Long Term Care, Home Health and Hospice care service industry throughout Northeast Ohio for the past five years. Megan has over 18 years of nursing experience in diverse clinical settings, as well as a Bachelor of Business Management from Walsh University in Canton, Ohio. Megan also served as Director of Marketing/Sales and Nurse Liaison positions, focused on Long Term Care and senior living services and products for the Geriatric aged medical and health care consumer.

Sandra Phipps, RN BSN MBA WCC is AmeriWound’s Regional Manager for Northern California with more than thirty years of healthcare experience. Prior to joining AmeriWound, Sandra served as Director of Clinical Support for Joerns RecoverCare for both their Western and Midwestern territories focussed on their vertical wound care market including nursing homes and hospitals. In a prior role, Sandra served as Director of Outpatient Wound Care Center for Diversified Clinical Services. Sandra worked for Johnson Controls as a Healthcare Solutions Account Executive and for U.S. Counseling Services dealing with Capital Asset Management. Earlier, she served as Assistant Department Head for Labor and Delivery at Good Samaritan Hospital. Sandra received both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and her Master of Business Administration from San Jose State University. Sandra is Wound Care Certified.

Regional Manager, Southern California
Shannon Parker is AmeriWound’s Southern California Regional Manager. Prior to joining AmeriWound, Shannon served as a medical services and products business development and sales representative. Shannon’s unique story has been featured on Animal Planet and Larry King Live. On June 26, 2004 Shannon survived a vicious mountain lion attack while hiking. She subsequently woke up in a hospital with 298 lacerations covering her entire body. (Click on the links below for Shannon’s story). Over the past 4 years, given her own wound care patient history, Shannon has displayed a passion for helping wound care patients and her client facilities. Shannon received a Bachelor of Science Degree from California State University – Bakersfield in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. Shannon is certified through the Wound Care Education Institute as a Certified Wound Care Market Specialist (CWCMS). Shannon also received a certificate of achievement completing a 200 Hour Hot Yoga Teacher Training program through Yoga Alliance.

Susan Semeraro, MHA
Regional Manager, New York, New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania
Susan Semeraro is Ameriwound’s New York State Area Manager. Susan previously served as WNY Territory Manager for Medical Devices. She has been a Clinical Dietitian in both hospitals setting and skilled nursing facilities. Additionally, she successfully owned and developed several businesses applying her expertise in business development and management. Susan has a BS degree in Business and Finance and was accepted into the Research Foundation. She is currently working towards her Masters degree in healthcare management. Susan has a health and wellness lifestyle focus and periodically competes in fitness pageant shows.
